Marine Support

Typical services provided include

Marine Services and SuppportIn addition to our Harbor & Towage agreement with NPA, LTT also provides specialist marine service and personnel for offshore marine projects such as:

  • Positioning of oil rigs for jack-up / down or leg joining operations;
  • Loading and unloading of vessels, rigs and project cargoes from semi-submersible heavy lift ships;
  • Towing of floating cranes and barges;
  • Standby & shifting of immobilized ships at anchorages;
  • Ship to ship transfer operations;
  • Tow out and load out of offshore structures and platforms;
  • SPM mooring and unmooring operations;
  • Firefighting (FiFi Class 1);

The company was founded in 2007 as a fleet management company, assigned to manage vessels owned by the Nigerian Ports Authorities and by that to improve the availability of tugs, pilot boats and mooring services in Lagos port.
